>On the question of search engines, after a TechNetter (forget who) ... >I mean, a request for "boro" "phospho" "silicate" "glass" - ALL WORDS >INCLUDED - brought up a wild selection concerning pictures & videos ... >Is this your common experience of "Alltheweb" & can I get around it? >Or am I just a webmagnet for this sort of crud?? I was the guilty party who suggested alltheweb, their search is being compromised by sites that have a "keywords" section many kilobytes long containing large selections of possible search words - i saved one that was over 38K of garbage and word fragments - nowadays my searches are often of "the exact phrase" variety. However, in defense of their full page indexing, I have found sites there that none of the other search engines pick up.
