HELLOOOOOOOO TECHNET!!!!! I have an assembly question for all the assembly experts out there. We are currently trying to bond three rigid / flex boards together at the rigid locations using the PTH locations. (approx. .180 total board thickness) One of the boards is a jumper board used to make a connection to the other two boards (the panels are oversized). We have tossed around the idea of using pins with high temp solder on the jumper and low temp solder on the other locations ( approx. 100 pin locations). We have also considered using a compliant pin to make a press fit through the jumper board into the other board locations to make the connection. Does anyone have any ideas with this topic. If there is anymore clarification needed please let me know. ############################################################## TechNet Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ############################################################## To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TECHNET <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TECHNET ############################################################## Please visit IPC web site (http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.htm) for additional information.
