Morning All - Got the following input from Chuck Hruby, which I greatly appreciate. Any other comments? I'm not a expert but this is what I've seen so far. MIL-STD-100 (in the forward) states that Chap 600 was replaced by ASME Y14.35M and Chap 700 was replaced by ASME Y14.14.34M. MIL-STD-100 Chap 200 was partially replaced with the following exception: The SMD (standard microcircuit drawing) is done to level 3 documentation, vs the SCD (source control document in Y14.24) is done to level 2 documentation. As far as Printed Wiring Board and Assembly Drawings I have seen no difference between the two spec's. In fact if you use the IPC-D-325 was very helpful in outlining the documentation of the Assembly Drawings, and it meets both MIL-STD-100 and ASME Y14.100 specs. I'm still learning to ... I am not a member of TechNet (some one in our office is) so if you could forward this to the other members I would appreciate it. ############################################################## TechNet Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ############################################################## To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TECHNET <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TECHNET ############################################################## Please visit IPC web site (http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.htm) for additional information.
