Greetings from the IPC Staff We have been working with Underwriters Labs over the last year to improve the working relationship and the service received by the electronic interconnection industry. I feel that UL has been very responsive to IPC's request, and we look forward to more improvements in the future. In the spirit of continuing improvement, I have asked IPC's sister organizations in the World Electronic Circuit Council (IPC, JPCA, IPCA, PCIF, TPCA, EIPC CEMA and more) to determine if there are continuing issues to working with UL that IPC might compile and might work with UL to help overcome. Our sister organizations are polling their members in their part of the world. I thought I would ask Technet, to get the pulse of the IPC side of things. Please, I do not want to start a UL bashing discussion. I am looking for a list of constructive issues, that we can collect and start discussion with UL. IPC has developed a good working relationship with UL management and I'd like that to continue. Please reply off Technet to me at [log in to unmask] I will consider all replies confidential and will develop summaries that do not contain company identification. Thank you for your help and best regards, Dave _____________________________ David W.
