"D-limonene" is commonly known as "citrus fuel" to quote someeone in that industry. There are 3 grades, food 96%, technical 95% and lemon-lime 70% that are sold. The technical grade, which we are currently using in the field mixed with other oxygenated solvents, has a strong orange aroma. Structurely, it is similar to terpineol but lacks the alcohol (OH) group to assist in aqueous solution. ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael Fenner <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Friday, July 09, 1999 7:38 PM Subject: Re: [TN] FAB-IPC-SM-840 > You might recognise it better by the generic "terpiniol", some semiaqueous > cleaners - the ones that smell of pine or oranges are terpiniol based. > > Mike Fenner > BSP, OX15 4JQ, England > T: +44 1295 722 992 > M: +44 789 999 7715 > F: +44 1295 720 937 > > For product information visit www.belzona.com > -----Original Message----- > From: Edwards, Ted A (AZ75) <[log in to unmask]> > To: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> > Date: 09 July 1999 22:28 > Subject: [TN] FAB-IPC-SM-840 > > > >Table 3 of IPC-SM-840 resistance to solvents and cleaning agent calls for > >testing with D-Limonene, anybody know what this is? > > > >
