Hello, I first saw this email regarding "pay-per-email" awhile back and followed up with my congressman (David Wu). I have found that no such bill is pending (or even under consideration to his knowledge). HR1291 has been introduced, but this would prohibit the FCC from imposing interstate access fees on internet service providers. Due to this issue surfacing repeatedly, the FCC has compiled a fact sheet at: http://www.fcc.com/bureaus/common_carrier/factsheets/ispfact.html If you would like additional information, you can find it at that site or the congressional website. Guess this one was another urban myth. Feel free to pass this along to anyone who is concerned regarding the phantom "602P".
