First I gotta' tell ya', I sure do got some leads now after your "unauthorized" post last week...I should say thanks. So; "thanks mate". Now on to the technical stuff. I've never used a polyimide stencil, but I've heard they're slick as snot...being able to see through them makes it really easy to align when you're doing epoxy on the bottomside. I think I remember Kathy Palumbo from Viking said she was using them and if I remember right she said she liked them quite a bit. Heard they gasket really good so they reduce the cleaning between prints quite a bit. Like to try one myself actually... As far as how thick, I went to a Canadian company's WEB page that makes the stencils and they recommend 5-mils for 20-mil pitch...a mil less than what you would use for a stainless stencil. Their page is at: http://www.kjmarketing.com Say, what you asking 'bout stencils for anyway? Your Camelots breaking down or something? -Steve Gregory- ################################################################ TechNet E-Mail Forum provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ################################################################ To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TechNet <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TechNet ################################################################ Please visit IPC's web site (http://www.ipc.org) "On-Line Services" section for additional information.
