<< Hi Guys,
I've started with my current employer fairly recently, and have found to my
chagrin that the production line operators have no concept of JIT and that
work-in-progress is extremely high. Before I go off and re-invent the wheel
with some training, does anybody know of any suppliers of good JIT training
material, ie. Videos / CD-ROM etc?
(This is the cue for Steve Gregory to start his Net surfing.....)
Any info. would be much appreciated!!

 Thanks in advance

Hey ya' Justin!

Seems like I'm starting to get some sort of reputation here...(a good one I
hope!)...GRIN

Anyways, I did find sumpin' fer ya! How would you like a whole JIT principles
course that was created and written by college students from Curtin
University of Technology in Perth, Australia as a class project for free? I
knew you would! It's even down around your neck of the woods! So it'll take a
couple of milliseconds less to load up on yer 'pooter than it did on
mine...hehehe. It's online and yours for the surfing.
Go to: http://www.rolf.ece.curtin.edu.au/~clive/jit.jit.htm

I ran across that link while at a very good page from a organization called
the Manufacturing Management and Technology Insitute. It's a page really
worth visiting. Go to: http://www.mmt-inst.com
They've another page where I found the link to the Curtin University thing
called their JIT/Lean Production Resource List. It's just jam-packed with all
kinds of links about that stuff. Go to:
http://www.mmt-inst.com/otherresouces.htm

I think that'll keep ya' busy for a while!

C-ya L8'er!
