Its called American Machining/Tooling (kinda ironic name), and Charlie Lee is the owner. Tell him Mike from Mitek (my previous life) says hi. He has a real down n' dirty little sweatshop, but Sorectron buys a lot from him so you know it's good and cheap. He can work from ideas and cocktail napkins, so you've got a chance.... I just want to give you a big thanks for turning me on to American Tooling and Machining!! Charlie Lee says "Hi!" as well! He remembers you... What a heck of a neat guy, you wasn't wrong about him being able to work off a cocktail napkin and understanding a concept...he knows his stuff. He's been there and done that in a lot of areas. Told me he's done something similar for Sun MicroSystems. Understood perfectly about the importance of even airflow around the pins of the PC104 connector. Even pointed out something to me that I didn't think of. I was envisioning an enclosure just a little bigger than the footprint of the connector, but he pointed out; "Steve, wider is better...make the enclosure wider so you will avoid dead spots inside, and we need to make sure we vent things correctly so the air flows smoothly all around..." He's gonna start working on it tommorrow and try to have something for me next week. You couldn't have recommended a better shop! Thanks again! I owe you a cool one, or two, or three...(GRIN) -Steve Gregory- ################################################################ TechNet E-Mail Forum provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ################################################################ To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TechNet <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TechNet ################################################################ Please visit IPC's web site (http://www.ipc.org) "On-Line Services" section for additional information.
