I would worry more about the "replacement"/"repairs"/"reworks" than leaving it as is ; Have to agree with Steve ; no need to push 603 pads needlessly . Sorry to disagree Matt ; but I'd prefer to drive without sus reworks . Secondary validation : STELLA ; to be able to sleep without nightmares of freeway pile ups : Find yourself a relevant quick test ( accelerated cycling ) some you can close in week , if Werner won't pull one out of his hat I'll dig in my files ; but it's really his hobby . With 805's you should have no issues ; but you'll have to validate it : Primary validation : Perhaps the fastest rubber stamp in your sector : Get it through relevant (standards set you work to) vibrating test ; the cycling considering it's battle of two small passives and less load on 805's anyhow would be perhaps useless delay as well (do it as a follow up) Pull or shear tests are not relevant in this dimensions ; as vibro test should indicate . See you Stella Paul Klasek http://www.resmed.com PS the expert really is Werner (although he proved to be mortal on rare occasions too) ; I took the liberty (as usual) to list him on send ; hopefully he'll bite with specifics, correctly worded reflecting worsening legal climate nowadays . > ---------- > From: Matthew Park[SMTP:[log in to unmask]] > Sent: Tuesday, 2 March 1999 6:50 > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: Re: [TN] Soldering fillet > > Stella. > > I know this sounds silly.
