Dear fellows ; Finally I got cornered from all sides and told by all that instead of pitiful glances and sour grins upon our creations design reviews it would be nicer if I'd compile A Design For Manufacturability files and pass them on our design guys ; so they have something relevant to hold on when dreaming up the circuits . Before I get onto this chore : and I realize it's usually specific to field applied : is there anything I could scavenge; utilize; adapt; or go by ; or would somebuddy be willing (this is an unspecified bribery offer) to part with a copy of their blood and tears creation ? We run mostly single or double sided cards ; on flash gold ; driving out all manual (TH) bits currently . What is the experience with (which?) IPC guidelines ; how dated is what ; any wonder news ? (arrow pads narrowing under to eliminate balls ; new reliability oriented decreased pad sizes) ; etc. What is the >current = next decade< status ? Any training ; handling and flow trends ? Thanks A lot for the help Paul Klasek http://www.resmed.com PS Notes on paste dispensing design utilization's especially appreciated . ################################################################ TechNet E-Mail Forum provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ################################################################ To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TechNet <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TechNet ################################################################ Please visit IPC's web site (http://www.ipc.org) "On-Line Services" section for additional information.
