Subject: [DC] Breakout Patterns

Derek Here's a few guidelines

- Keep via pattern on your routing grid

- If device uses local fiducials (fine pitch devices) make sure they're
in place
  prior to putting in pattern.

- Keep fan-out traces (stringers) .008 min.
Fine pitch traces keep .003 smaller than pad size

- Keep fanout pads .040 min. from component largest feature (pad or
comp. body)
  (if possible, for testability)

- Make sure you don't connect pad 2 to pin 3 (depends on type of
software)

- Keep gnd inside of pattern and pwr on outside (depends on where caps
are)

Hard to give example with limited keys;

   1 --- = 2
             / <--- routing channel
         =--/

   3 --- = 4
             / <--- routing channel
         =--/

   | | | | |______ pad (via)
   | | | |________ trace
   | | |___________ smt pad
   | |______________ trace
   |_________________ pad
