Jason, A Gage R&R is an analysis of the repeatability and reproducability of making a measurement, relative to the inherent variation of the object you are measuring. Most statistics books will have a section on it. It may be listed under "gage capability". Unfortunately I hadn't even heard of such a study 'til today. Can anyone give me any pointers to where I can find information on carrying out such a study or has anyone any ideas on how to carry out such a study. I hope I'm not addressing this to the wrong forum. -Jason ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ################################################################ TechNet E-Mail Forum provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ################################################################ To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TechNet <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TechNet ################################################################ Please visit IPC's web site (http://www.ipc.org) "On-Line Services" section for additional information.
