Good question Mike! We don't have an "official" list of abbreviations here and the only thing consistant here is inconsistancy! I also use MIL-STD-12 (my personal copy) when I need an abbreviation. Unfortunately alot of the terminology we use is not covered in that spec. I create my own using 12D as a guideline. Is there something else? I'm still trying to drag this department into 1989. (Who needs Y2K problems when I have a Y2K-10 problem!) Thanks again! JoAnn L. Amerson Design Librarian Red Lion Controls, Inc.
