You really ought to contact Don Ball of Atotech, (Formerly Chemcut), to get
results of his studies on the effects of changing variables on Cupric Chloride
etchant.

Don studied such things as changing the free acid, Copper Content (Baume'),
and ORP, on such things as etching speed, and etch factor, and has published
his results in brochures.
