I am looking for any and all information on the use of Conductive Carbon / Silver Ink Polymer Thick Film on PCB card edge contact tabs as a replacement for the gold plating, (gold fingers). I have information from Electra on the Electrodor material and from National Starch - Acheson on the Minico material. Does anyone have experience with use of these materials on PCB / PWB edge connector contact tabs? I am looking for electrical, mechanical, reliability, quality, cost, etc. characteristics comparing conductive PTF to the typical 30 micro-inch gold plating used. I appreciate and thank you for any information and leads.
