Good Morning All, We have a carbon film resistor with a pin hole in the insulating material. We have looked under a microscope and visibly cannot see anything that resembles the metallic element. Our customer says if there is a hole in the coating, the element is exposed. We have sent samples out to be analyzed, but, as of yet, have not heard anything. We see these pin holes occasionally (usually only one on a resistor). This has never come up as as issue before. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? Has this ever been a problem for anyone else? Thanks in advance for any input on this.
