The finish on one leg is Brass with a coating of 2 microns of silver with a further coating of 2 microns of Gold. The other leg is Brass with a coating of 2 microns of Gold straight on the brass. Thanks for your reply and everyone else who has replied and I am now asking our supplier if they can put a nickel layer between the Brass and the Gold. I still haven't had many answers regarding the leg with the silver coating between the Brass and the Gold. Any help in this will be greatly appreciated.
