I have had similar experiences with peelable mask. The mask will survive
reflow temperatures but not contact with hot metal. I use edge conveyors
and require a clearance around the edge of the boards to avoid contact with
the chain pins. I think most of the common masks are incompatible with a
mesh belt. Could you try a carrier fixture with standoff pins?
Regards and good luck,

Subject: [TN] Peelable mask in reflow oven

Is there someone who has any experience with peelable mask, (printed on
board by the pcb manufactorer), put on boards which first go through the
reflow oven, then through a solder wave? When they come out of the reflow
oven they stick to the mesh belt. When you take the boards of the belt
there remains some of the peelable mask or worse the mask comes of the pcb.
