Hi! I have a situation that maybe some of you have experience with. Our older military contracts require soldering to Mil-Std-2000 and we have been performing to that spec. for years. Now, with the cancellation of 2000A, we're trying to play catch-up. We are still trying to perform to the spec. but our solder certifications have expired. A formerly certified Cat. C instructor is training our folks at the local Community College using his old Mil-Std 2000 course materials. The College is providing a Certificate of Training. Our contracts folks are working on a waiver or deviation while we migrate to ANSI-J, but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. Any info will be appreciated.
