Hello technetters, I've been browsing the internet for ipc's standard regarding the standards that we are to follow regarding the dust particle count. For a 10K class clean room and a 0.5 microns particle size, we are allowed a 10,000 particles per cu ft. In my case, since we are encountering problems regarding fibers and we have checked that the environment contributes to this problem, we decided to check the particle count in our area. Using the clean room standard we failed. What I want to know is : What is the standard particle count for a particle size of 2 microns? Our environment is not a clean room environment and we're producing the flex for HDD. Please help me with this problem...I just need the standard.
