A good source for Safety Related Items of an almost endless variety is Lab Safety Supply in Janesville Wisconsin. There are several manufactures of lead monitors that you can use to spot check the air or longer term dosimeter that you send out for analysis. If you are not familiar with the various procedures and products contact a local industrial hygiene firm, If you want to find out what is available give Lab Safety a call. ( PS they are a source for all the Drager tubes including the Smoke tubes to detect Air currents) ---------- From: Ryan Jennens To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [TN] Air quality monitor Date: Wednesday, August 19, 1998 5:45PM Hey all- Can anybody give me some direction as to where to find air quality monitors for lead content. After recent Technet discussions, I realize that there is very low risk of lead ingestion with good ventilation on the wave solder machine, but having a documented reading would help me sleep better, you know? Maybe a rental would be the way to go, does anybody do this?
