Ken - We've asked the same question of some of our connector suppliers recently. Those who have performed environmental tests with OSP's and with immersion Au/electroless Ni indicated they passed the electrical testing, but had evidence of corrosive attack on the entry and exit pads. I suggest you query your specific connector supplier. If I understand correctly, this type connector system is dependent on the presence of tin/lead to function as an insertion lubricant, as well as provide a gas tight seal to the connection after assembly.
