I concur with Jan. In my previous life, I used a batch cleaner try to clean water-soluble solderpaste flux from smt boards. Tried 3 or 4 solderpaste mfg's, and all had flux residue remaining under components and in solder joints after many cycles of dishwashing. For some cleaning cycles, 5 to 10% saponifier was used but still same result. Ending up throwing away 5 dozen good boards because of solder joint discoloration. conclusion: A batch cleaner is for dishwashing dishes. It's not for dishwashing smt boards. I've worked with both Batch cleaners and in-line cleaners and have learned that batch works great with thru-hole components, but you really need an in-line cleaner to clean under SMT parts.
