Heidie -ho, good neighbors! I hope everyone is doing well today. And that someone can come to my aid. Please? I am currently working on a multi-sheet schematic with LOTS of interrupted signals. Most of them appear on more than one sheet. I'm not concerned about those that are power or ground signals nor the ones that are joined by a bus. It's the other ones that's causing me problems. The product engineer would like a way of easily identifying where the other part of the signal is located. If it's only on one other sheet, I can add the sheet and zone numbers near the signal. Some of these signals though show up on more than two sheets. Now what do I do? I'm trying to find a way to KISS (keep it simple, stupid) it and yet be clear enough to the tech who may need to trouble-shoot it down the road. Most of our schematics are single pages with a few going to two sheets. No problem there. I'm working on three schematics for a company we recently acquired. All were done on A3 size paper (B size roughly). One is seven sheets long, one is 10 and the latest one is 12. ARGH!! I haven't tackled the 12 sheet one yet. I'd like to figure out how to get our techs from one sheet to another without using an entire page to show the interrupted signals and the locations of their terminii. I'm looking for a solution that can be turned into a "standard" rather than just making do this time and the heck with the next. I know that alot of you deal with multi-sheet schematics on a regular basis. How do you handle this situation? Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated. Have a good evening!!!!!!
