Hello Fellow Technetters. I have little experience with thru-hole technology assemblies, as we build mainly double sided SMT. The question I have is: Can SO8 /14/16/20 devices be passed thru the wave solder (on the solder side of the PWB) without solder defects such as bridging? I have read about "solder thieves" but have no details. Does anyone have experience with wave soldering SMDs that they could pass along any advice?
