Alan, I have used US Filter when I set up a closed loop filtration system for an ultra-sonic cleaning system. Initially their service was quite good, but as time went on it got worse and worse. I had a lot of problems with them picking up the spent tanks, and sometimes they would sit on my back dock for weeks at a time. Then to top it off they would try to charge me a rental fee on the tanks they failed to pick up. I don't do business with them any more(this was about 2 years ago), so maybe they have improved by now. We currently have 2 WESTEK TRITON IV cleaning system. We use South Coast Water (we are in So. Ca.) as our resin bed supplier. The system works extremely well at cleaning our SMT and TH product. The only complaint we have about the system is the difficulty in getting to some of the areas which require maintenance. None of the piping is quick disconnect, so when you have a leak (which we do) what a nightmare to fix. One of the flow gages has to cleaned (white stuff builds up inside of it and then you can't read the flow). We had to make a special bristle brush to clean this, because it is in such a tight spot. Other than that the machine is a good machine. Good Luck!!
