The trouble I have found with the Digest is that it nearly always arrives truncated, with a statement that it is "too big". Some number of the messages are then lost. I have talked with IPC and they tried limiting number of lines but have not yet gotten short enough for it to work with our system. In addition, no attachments are accepted through our system any longer. The biggest problem with that is there are no notices that there were attachments. Date: Thursday, April 30, 1998 1:45PM No, with bulletin boards you have to log in and check everything yourself, which takes longer than just deleting the junk you don't wanna see. The ultimate solution in my opinion is to send a command to change your status to DIGEST With DIGEST on, you only get one or two a day and you can see at a glance which topics are relevant to you (assuming people use good titles) Just one opinion, ( werx fer me ) Jack -----Original Message----- From: Peter Mariani [SMTP:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Thursday, April 30, 1998 8:39 AM Subject: Re: Sign Off Vincent brings up a good point. Should the format be changed from email to a bulletin board type forum?
