My first concern would be as to whether there was delamination present on the boards which appear to be good. Since the boards are 10 layers there may be delamination on one of the internal layers which cannot be seen with visual examination. That would mean sacrificing one assembly to multiple microsections - all hole sizes all over the board. If you find no more delamination, then you could consider the use environment of the boards. If they are going to be in a benign environment - office type, then you would feel pretty confident that they will survive. IF THEY ARE going to be in any environment which sees extreme temperature cycles, the confidence level would drop severely, Susan Mansilla Robisan Lab ################################################################ TechNet E-Mail Forum provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ################################################################ To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TechNet <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TechNet ################################################################ Please visit IPC web site (http://jefry.ipc.org/forum.htm) for additional information.
