Ed, At a past employer, we built boards for a pretty large networking company that went into one of their servers. Because of mistake in one of the Gerber files for a assembly, we had to do a trace cut and install a jumper wire as part of the normal production process, which to me, would be the same as a trace repair. From what I know, everything was fine with the boards...they ran just like they were supposed to and never had any problems. I know this is not scientific data, but just something that may show that if the repair is done correctly there shouldn't be a problem whatsoever... -Steve Gregory- ################################################################ TechNet E-Mail Forum provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ################################################################ To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TechNet <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TechNet ################################################################ Please visit IPC web site (http://jefry.ipc.org/forum.htm) for additional information.
