Achim, Topline can be reached at: TopLine 11751 Markon Drive Garden Grove, CA 92841 Tel: 1-714- 898-3830 Fax: 1-714- 891-0321 WWW.TopLineDummy.com The board they have is called a Fiducial Evaluation Kit. It has 10, 25-mil pitch 100-pin QFP's on it and 10 different fiducial types. The bad part is that they make you buy 10 of these boards. Last time I checked, it was $275.00 for 10, pretty outrageous if you ask me...they're just regular ol' PCB's. If you need something precise, I suggest going to a company that electrodeposits metal onto glass using whatever pattern you want...it's much more precise than a standard FR4 PCB. One company I know of that does that kind of work is a company called: Optoline Phone: (508) 658-7255 WWW.Optoline.com I assume when you're speaking about flex circuits, you want to have something that mimics the conditions of what a fiducial would look like on a flex circuit (I think I know what you're driving at...), because some machines vision systems have a hard time looking thru the material that flex circuits are made of...like Kapton, or polyimid. Just take some kapton tape and place it over the fiducials of whatever your using for your machine ( Topline board, or glass plate )... -Steve Gregory- ################################################################ TechNet E-Mail Forum provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ################################################################ To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TechNet <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TechNet ################################################################ Please visit IPC web site (http://jefry.ipc.org/forum.htm) for additional information.
