Jim,

This is one of those "Good News, Bad News" responses.

The "Good News" is that I have found that Chemtronics "Flux Off CZ" is
excellent at removing Rosin Flux residue. The smell is mild but the neat
thing is that it evaporates at a near instantaneous rate. This material
would even work in a vapor degreaser. Kinda reminds me of the old "Freon TE"
days of yore.

The "Bad News" is the cost and product support. I have paid over $400 per
gallon for this material. I think the 55 gal price is around $17K ! The
product support is awful. The guys that make the stuff can't tell you how to
reclaim the material, clean it, or even how to use it. I have one gallon of
"dirty" material that I would like to re-use at some point. If you decide to
use this material, you'll have to set up your own guidelines.
