Kathy, I can't comment on California, but in Ireland Electrovert is supported by a company called Speedline Technology which is a subsidiary of the Cookson Group. They have an office based in Dublin with two sales people and at least three service engineers. I have no experience of their Forced Air Convection Ovens, but their Solder Waves perform well. Vitronics and Soltec are supported by Astro Technology , a UK based company who also have an office in Dublin. They have two sales people, a service manager and two service engineers based in Ireland and are currently increasing their service department. I have worked on the old Vitronics SMR 800 and found it to be very reliable , easy to maintain, and trouble free. I have also worked on the Soltec 6544 which is a seven zone sealed oven. It is an excellent oven for profiles, but it is difficult to access the conveyor for maintenance. Soltec's new Quantas oven looks very impressive and is a clam-shell oven to facilitate ease of maintenance. Another very popular oven in Ireland is The BTU VIP 98. We have one in line for just over a year now and have had no issues from it. It is easy to maintain and provides a very flexible and consistent profile. It is supported in Ireland by IPT Ltd., they are based in Co.Cork, Ireland. They have two sales people and three service engineers supporting their products. If you require any more information, contact names or phone numbers you can contact me off line.
