We have an application where we would like to assemble a 0.185" thick
PWB with through hole relay components that have a 0.018" pin diameter.
The through holes on the PWB have a 0.037" finished diameter..... Are
there tricks to wave soldering a board this thick? If wave soldering is
not an option and neither is hand soldering, has any one tried paste in
hole in such thick boards? We have done PIH in the past, but they were
on 0.062" thick PWBs.... Any suggestions?
