Per J-Std-001A (I didn't have a copy of B), paragraph 5.3: ...shall be analyzed, replaced, or replenished at a frequency to ensure compliance with the limits specified in Table 5-1 (same table as QQ-S-571). The frequency of analysis should be determined on the basis of historical data, or monthly analyses. If contamination exceeds the limits of Table 5-1, intervals between the analyses, replacement or replenishment shall be shortened. Records..... So what does that mean? I've been wave soldering for over 10 years and have never had a wave solder pot out of limit using 30-day intervals (time to lengthen analysis time).
