Hello Ed,

That sounds about right, any spare anode beyond the edge of the panel
will cause overplating of that edge. By keeping the anode 2" shorter it
will avoid the normal increase in thickness at the bottom edge. By the
same token, keeping the anodes inside the outside edges of the outermost
panels will avoid overplating there also. A shield can be used along the
top edge. The bottom edge is probably the least critical because of the
small voltage drop down the plating jig.

The practical problem is that various panel sizes mean that sometimes
thieves have to be used to avoid the need to keep moving anodes around.
