Before you get to far...I would suggest you check out Veribest.
Especially if your designs are in the high end of the technology. Their
autorouter is the best I have seen (Benchmarked quite a few, including
Cadence Allegro. Money was also the lower priority to the technology for
us). It has a great set of signal property tools for adding orders,
delay formulas, differential pair, and length criteria to the routing.

HELP! I am desperately in search of a full design
package where price is no limit! I need to do
schematic capture, pcb layout, netlist conversions,
backwards and forwards compatability, DXF and IDF
and DRW compatability. I have been using PADS,
and lately ORcad. Any suggestions as to the most
reliable and succesful product out there?
