I think both Joel Yocom and Denis Meloche are correct in that communications and
information are essential but we must  avoid the risk of commercialization and
abusing the technet facilities.   Why not adopt the practise of including a
telephone number on all such supplier info requests and keep the responses off
the network.  The responder then has a choice of e-mailing or telephoning the
info.

Where the request and response is generic and not referring to a specific
supplier, the technet is invaluable.

Re circuitry suppliers of all breeds ---- the IPC Membership Directory does list
facilities and capabilities.  I don't know where any central info source exists
for fluxes, etc.
