Hello,TechNetters!

I need the following information:
1.What is DIFFERENT between a solder joint Alloy 42 /SnPb and
solder joints of brass or phosphor bronze leads?
2.How does the solderability of Alloy 42 compare to brass or
bronze or nickel?
3.In order to check the strength of solder joints,Iwould like to
perform some vibration and thermal shock tests .Are there papers
on alloy 42 ? What standards should I use?
4.Is there a special technology recommended for Alloy 42 reflow
 soldering?

Thank you

Gaby
