Mostly along the edge, but in circuits as well! OK Technetters, how about a solution/cause for the above issue?? To fill you in, we use: Atotech DF additives and McGean Rohco e 339 additives! The tanks are 2200 gals each. The temps we run at are 72 - 78 F. We use Atoech AFR2 cleaner @ 10%, a peroxide, sulfuric microetch (10 -16 microinch etch) 10% sulfuric dip, I checked the air, it doesn't look like we're asperating(sp) so I've taken a 2 L beaker sample while loaded and see tiny bubbles, but they disapate within 30 seconds or so (I believe this is normal). We use Dynachem HG 1.5 film, develop with sodium carbonate (I know theres better, but) 50% breakpoint, .97% concentration, ph at 11.2 new, dump at ph 10.4 conc @ about .86% Now, all tanks have been carbon treated within the last 6 weeks and are very "clean" This issue just started in the last 2 weeks. The chemical guys says its dry film/developing and the dry film guys say its the air/plating. I'm not really sure, but I'm leaning towards the air too, however, nothing has been changed (in the air patterns) for months, except the air temp & humidity has soared. Some more data, its not on every load / board, it can be on one or both sides of the same board, it can be on each station (up to 20 stations) or it can be on one station, it can massive or minimal. Tony P. P.S. I believe I've found a something that influence it and maybe eliminate it, but I'd like to hear from someone who has had it and fixed it! Any takers?? *************************************************************************** * TechNet mail list is provided as a service by IPC using SmartList v3.05 * *************************************************************************** * To subscribe/unsubscribe send a message [log in to unmask]> * * with and no text in the body. * *************************************************************************** * If you are having a problem with the IPC TechNet forum please contact * * Dmitriy Sklyar at 847-509-9700 ext. 311 or email at [log in to unmask] * ***************************************************************************
