It take 2.3 tank volumes to dilute to 10% of the original concentration. For example: If you dragged in enough solution into a 100 gallon tank to get a concentration of 100 ppm, you would have to add 230 gallons of clean water to dilute to 10 ppm. This is why we use counterflow (cascade) and spray rinses. You may wish to review our web page at www.remco.com/an2.htm. This has a graph and formula for calculating this.
