We have some pwb's that when tested at 500 and 1000 volts show leakage currents in the 1 to 3 tetra range. Has anyone substantiated that this occurs due to the presence of ionic contamination. Are there any good references/technical articles on detection of ionic contamination and electrical test screening of the bare board. The part has 10 mil min internal spacing, 4 mil minimum external spacing, and is fabricated from a high tg FR4 material. *************************************************************************** * TechNet mail list is provided as a service by IPC using SmartList v3.05 * *************************************************************************** * To subscribe/unsubscribe send a message <to: [log in to unmask]> * * with <subject: subscribe/unsubscribe> and no text in the body. * *************************************************************************** * If you are having a problem with the IPC TechNet forum please contact * * Dmitriy Sklyar at 847-509-9700 ext. 311 or email at [log in to unmask] * ***************************************************************************
