Hello technetters , Normally those people working in the wet processes facing a lot of argument with the drilling department as far as hole quality is concerned . Sometimes it was quite difficult to pinpoint the source of the quality problem . We even seen company running DS boards with FR4 & CEM3 materials through the same drilling parameters and process through desmear line . The questions that I would like to ask is i.It is practical for different types of laminate i.e FR4 and CEM3 using the same drilling parameters . What problems will arise with CEM3 materials in terms of quality . ii.Do DS panels go through desmear in most cases .What sort of quality expected from the drilling section if DS panels go without desmear . Hope somebody could give a clue to the wet processes guys .Thanks . *************************************************************************** * TechNet mail list is provided as a service by IPC using SmartList v3.05 * *************************************************************************** * To subscribe/unsubscribe send a message <to: [log in to unmask]> * * with <subject: subscribe/unsubscribe> and no text in the body. * *************************************************************************** * If you are having a problem with the IPC TechNet forum please contact * * Dmitriy Sklyar at 847-509-9700 ext. 311 or email at [log in to unmask] * ***************************************************************************
