Recommend that whatever you buy should have substantial preheat capabilty from both sides over a good area of the board. OK industries had a modular station which preheated well, but we thought it was a bit awkward since it was not integrated into a "unit". The alternative might be to use a simpler rework station and start by heating the board in an ovetn, then remove the assembly to be reworked immediately before starting the R&R on a "lesser" rework station. good luck, Jerry Cupples Interphase Corporation Dallas, TX USA http://www.iphase.com *************************************************************************** * TechNet mail list is provided as a service by IPC using SmartList v3.05 * *************************************************************************** * To subscribe/unsubscribe send a message <to: [log in to unmask]> * * with <subject: subscribe/unsubscribe> and no text in the body. * *************************************************************************** * If you are having a problem with the IPC TechNet forum please contact * * Dmitriy Sklyar at 847-509-9700 ext. 311 or email at [log in to unmask] * ***************************************************************************
