What theoretical factors come into play when a CMI reading is done after
etching.

Is the reading more or less sensitive to hole characteristics compared
to the unetched hole?
Does one achieve good correlation to microsectioned measurements by
stage micrometer, or are there instances or circumstances where one
would not?
