I am having problems with floating sludge in my clarifier. Instead of a clarifier I have a desolved air flotation system. The system is as follows: - Continuous treatment system about (80 gpm) treating all printed circuit board chemical manufacturing waste. - First step: the waste floes to a lift station where it is pumped into the first treatment tank. -The first tank: The pH adjusted to 8.0 with caustic, sodiumdimethyldithiocarbamate (DTC) is added to an ORP of around 0 mv. Then it flows by gravity to the second tank. - The second tank: Polyaluminium chloride, and an anionic polyelectrolyte is added. The treated solution then flows by gravity into the clarifier. I have tried different concentrations of anionic flocculent, it doesn't seem to be a floccluent overdose. If anyone can help I would really be greatful. *************************************************************************** * TechNet mail list is provided as a service by IPC using SmartList v3.05 * *************************************************************************** * To unsubscribe from this list at any time, send a message to: * * [log in to unmask] with <subject: unsubscribe> and no text. * *************************************************************************** * If you are having a problem with the IPC TechNet forum please contact * * Dmitriy Sklyar at 847-509-9700 ext. 311 or email at [log in to unmask] * ***************************************************************************
