Don- I've used Loctite "Output 383" which is a "thermally conductive, high strength" adhesive which I've also used to bond heat sinks to components. It uses a liquid activator and has a fixture time of 2 to 5 minutes. After profiling, it breaks away from the substrate or component more easily than epoxy. I remember others using a Loctite product in the past but I don't remember the type. The adhesive only has to last about 10 runs through the oven.
