I am designing a board that has a T0-18 photodiode on it and because of the amount of space I have to work with I cannot mount the diode on the top of the PCB without it protruding .060 to far through the bezel. I need to know if it would be acceptable to put a hole in the board the size of the T0-18, slide the diode in from the back, use adhesive around it on the top to secure it, and solder the leads to pads on the back of the board. *************************************************************************** * TechNet mail list is provided as a service by IPC using SmartList v3.05 * *************************************************************************** * To unsubscribe from this list at any time, send a message to: * * [log in to unmask] with <subject: unsubscribe> and no text. * ***************************************************************************
