As the complexity of electronic designs continue to dramatically advance along with time to market demands, Engineers and Designers must clearly work closer together. New challenges exist to change the "over the wall" traditions from logic, to physical designs, to manufacturing. Today many new tools are available to synthesize and optimize designs earlier in the design cycle. Our meeting objectives will be to learn how these new tools and technologies can compliment our existing CAD tools. We also want to work on new ways to reduce the cost of ECOs and make changes more easily at any stage of the design process regardless of CAD systems.
