LG 1000 is a b stage modified acrylic adhesive impregnated woven glass fabric . It is made by duPont and is used primarily as a heat sink bonding material where resistance to distortion in the bonding film is wanted. It is according to duPont's data sheet 65 +/- 10% resin and presses 5 +/-10% mils per ply.The glass fabric is 108 ( probably really 1080 now). Max flow is given as 5 mils My data sheet is from 1990 but at that time an address for them was 14 T.W.Alexander Drive , Reasearch Triangle Park N.C. Phone 919- 248-5000. ---------- From: [log in to unmask] To: [log in to unmask]; [log in to unmask]; [log in to unmask] Subject: Pyralux Lg-1000 Date: Friday, September 06, 1996 4:02PM To Whomever... Is there anyone out there who is familiar/knowledgeable with a material used as pre-preg called PYRALUX Lg-1000 ( don't know if that's a company name or the product). Any help will be appreciated.
